Anne-Sophie Scholtens (MA) studied Arts, Culture and Media at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. After she graduated, Anne-Sophie worked as a marketing professional at several museums. She’s currently working for the Fries Museum and the Princessehof National Museum of Ceramics, both in Leeuwarden.
Anne-Sophie first learned about Clinton Young in 2017, after watching Jessica Villerius’s documentary Innocent on Death Row. Indignant at the injustice in his case, she decided to write Clinton and help spread the word about his story. Determined to help him, Anne-Sophie joined the Foundation as a marketing volunteer in January 2019. In August 2020, she became the third board member.
