The Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (TCADP) and the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (NCADP) have issued some important messages and actions on their website regarding Clinton’s case.
The NCADP has issued an action on their website. They urge everyone to take the following actions:
* Contact Gov. Greg Abbott and ask him to halt this execution: contact him via this link, by phone at (512) 463-1782 or by tweet @GovAbbott. If you prefer to send a letter, here is the mailing address: Office of the Governor, P.O. Box 12428, Austin, Texas 78711-2428.
* If you live in Texas, write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper.
* Attend a vigil organized by the Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, around the scheduled execution.
* Please share this information with your friends, especially those in Texas, and ask them to help halt the execution of Mr. Young by taking one of the actions listed above.

The TCADP launched a clemency campaign for Clinton. On their website they ask everyone to urge the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles and Texas Governor Greg Abbott to support Clinton Young’s petition for clemency. They also organize a vigil:
“TCADP members throughout the state hold respectful vigils on the days of executions in Texas. We encourage your participation in these local actions as a form of witness against state-sanctioned killing. Check the TCADP website or call the office 512.441.1808 for any last-minute developments regarding stays of execution.”
